More than 150,000 troops are serving overseas and are away from their families. To help them call loved ones back home, Forcht Bank recently had a “Cell Phones for Soldiers” campaign to collect cell phones for recycling.
Forcht Bank asked its customers and communities to donate cell phones and accessories they are no longer using, resulting in more than 3,000 cell phones being brought in to various banking centers. This does not include all of the additional batteries, chargers and other peripherals that were also donated.
