Taylor Regional Hospital Charity Golf Scramble received a big boost from two local banks. Citizens Bank & Trust Co. and Taylor County Bank were major sponsors of the third annual event. Each bank donated $5,000 toward the purchase of a second van, which will be used to expand the existing free van service offered to TRH patients.

Coldwell Banker Co. and Managing Broker Kevin Farris recently announced that Lisa Ford Hornback was named the 2010 National Award winner.
Hornback, the daughter of Donald and Juanita Ford of Campbellsville, closed 59 units receiving the distinguish International President’s Elite Award. She is in the top 1 percent of all Coldwell Banker agents in the nation.

Marsha Kessler has passed the Kentucky Real Estate License exam and received her sales associate license.

McDonald’s in Campbellsville has launched a new Happy Meal in support of the company’s recently announced “Commitments to Offer Improved Nutrition Choice,” which strive to help customers — especially children and families — make nutrition-minded choices, whether visiting McDonald’s or elsewhere.
Taylor County is among the first markets to receive the redesigned Happy Meal after local stores participated as a test-market for the nation-wide launch. McDonald’s Restaurants in the area began testing the new Happy Meal last year.
