Chester “Check” Lynch recently opened a real estate business in Campbellsville.
Lynch has been a broker since 1976 and has more than 35 years of real estate experience in residential, commercial 0and farms. He is a 1972 alum of the University of Louisville, where he majored in business.
Lynch is a former resident of Louisville and moved to Campbellsville five years ago to be closer to his children and grandchildren, who live in Taylor County.

Ben Bland owner of The Twisted Stem, is the winner of the 2011 Downtown Beautification Award. Bland received the award for making “an attractive addition to the overall appearance of downtown Campbellsville, especially along Main Street.” Bland provided a colorful arrangement of flowers in numerous pots along the sidewalks, as well as upper story flower boxes. The Campbellsville Renaissance/Historic Preservation Commission selected the winner.

Farm Service Agency County Committee voting begins Friday.
Ballots for the 2011 elections will be mailed to eligible voters by Friday, according to FSA State Executive Director John W. McCauley. The deadline to return ballots is Dec. 5.

Neila Schuhmann recently joined The Green Room as a massage therapist.
Schuhmann is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Kentucky. She specializes not only in relaxing Swedish massage, but also therapeutic deep tissue massage.
