Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Green County will have a homecoming service on Sunday, May 30.
All members, former members, their families and friends of the church are invited to attend. The service will begin at 11 a.m. with Bro. Charles Owens bringing the message and special music by Benjamin Whitlock.
There will be a baptism immediately following the service. There will also be a potluck lunch. The church will provide meat, bread and drinks. Following lunch, Joe Milby will be performing special music.

The SonLight Kids will present "Everyday Heroes" at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday in the Campbellsville Christian Church Family Life Center.
"Everyday Heroes" tells the stories of Gideon, Esther and Nehemiah in music and drama.
Directed by children's ministry director Cari Gaddie, the SonLight Kids are made up of 35 children in grades one through five. There will also be a presentation by the preschool Tiny Tunes Choir.
Admission is free and everyone is invited.

The Rock Community Worship Center will have a cookout and yard sale on Saturday, May 8.
The event will start at 9 a.m. and last through most of the afternoon. All items are free, including the food.

The Taylor County Ministerial Association will host a worship service combining love for God and country on the National Day of Prayer - Thursday, May 6 at 7 p.m. at Campbellsville Baptist Church.
The evening will include the Campbellsville Elementary third- and fourth-grade choirs, Taylor County High School Show Choir, National Guard honor detail, and special guest speaker retired Lt. Col. Steve Russell of Oklahoma.
An offering will benefit the Taylor County Food Pantry.

Campbellsville University students shared testimonies of their spring break mission trips during Oasis, the weekly Baptist Campus Ministry meeting at Campbellsville University recently on the first day back to classes.
Missions to Costa Rica, Florida, Dearborn, Mich., a road trip around Kentucky, and a road trip around the South, came down to one theme, "Things don't always work out, but God works it out."
