Carrying the Torch Ministries in Columbia will host a revival on Saturday, March 24, and Sunday, March 25.
Guest speaker will be Mike Shreve of Cleveland, Tenn.
The revival will be at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday and at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday.
Shreve has done evangelistic and missionary work for 35 years and has seen more than 70,000 people converted.
He has been in television and radio ministry for 15 years and is the author of eight books and five Bible courses.

Fannie Chapel CME Church's Women's Ministry will host a Sister to Sister Empowerment Conference on March 23 and 24. The events will be at Living Grace Church.
Events begin on Friday at 6 p.m. Registration is at 5:15 p.m. On Saturday, events will begin at 10 a.m., with registration at 9:15 a.m.

Taylor County High School Show Choir will present "And the Winner Is ... " on March 22 through 24 at 7 p.m. at the Taylor County Middle School gymnasium.
The event will feature songs from the Red Carpet, songs that have won Oscar, Tony, Grammy and Dove awards.
Lisa Gupton directs the choir. She is assisted by Brian Clifford.
General admission tickets cost $5. Doors will open nightly at 6 p.m. On Saturday, doors will open at 5:45 p.m. for parents of senior choir members.

The World Day of Prayer is an annual worldwide prayer service for all Christian women on the first Friday of March.
An event was planned for Friday, March 2, but has been rescheduled to Friday, March 16, because of inclement weather. The event will begin at 7 p.m. at Bethel First Presbyterian Church.
World Day of Prayer services begin in the Pacific at sunrise and continue around the globe.
This year, the women of Malaysia have chosen the theme "Let Justice Prevail."
