Campbellsville University Residence Life will partner with the Exodus Cry, an anti-trafficking organization, on Tuesday, April 17, at 7 p.m. in Ransdell Chapel.
The event is free and open to the public.
A documentary entitled "Nefarious: Merchant of Souls" has been developed by Exodus Cry to expose and raise awareness of modern-day slavery and human trafficking. The documentary will be shown during the event.

Campbellsville Fire & Rescue and Taylor County Volunteer Fire Department's annual pancake breakfast will be Saturday, April 28, from 5 a.m. to noon.
Advance tickets can be purchased at the fire department or from a firefighter for $4.50 each. Tickets at the door are $5 each.
The breakfast will include all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, milk and coffee. All proceeds collected go toward training and equipment.
Delivery is available for local businesses.

Five Presbyterian church congregations in Taylor, Marion, Nelson and Washington counties will host a worship service on Maundy Thursday, April 5.
The service of Holy Communion and Tenebrae, an ancient liturgy meaning A Service of Shadows, will be at 7:30 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, five miles north of Springfield, off of Route 555, on Pleasant Grove Loop.

Main Street Saturday Night events, presented by the Tri-County Car Club, will begin Saturday, April 7.
Hosted the first Saturday in each month from April to October, classic vehicles will be on display on Main Street from 3 to 7 p.m.
There will be live music, children's activities, fundraisers, live entertainment, door prizes, food and more.
Saturday, May 5 will be 1950s dress-up night. Gospel music night will be Saturday, June 2.
There will be no event on Saturday, July 7. The club will host its annual car show on July 4.

Taylor County Public Library will offer several free community education classes in April.
Classes offered are:
♦ Thursday, April 5 - Beginning computer class from 2 to 4 p.m. Participants will learn basic computer usage techniques, such as an introduction to the Internet and how to set up an email account.
♦ Thursday, April 12 - Digital downloads and using an e-reader class from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Participants will learn to access and use the library's Overdrive digital library, along with how to organize and manage an e-reader account.
